Co-founder & CEO
Prior to founding LearnSprout, Frank spent four years as a product manager at Facebook, working on a variety of products including Ads, Deals and Internal Tools. Before Facebook, Frank worked at Deloitte where he consulted for government IT projects. Frank is a graduate from the University of Washington where he studied Economics and Business Administration in Information Systems. A big health-nut, Frank loves all kinds of outdoor activities, cross-fit training and is always willing to bike or hike just about anywhere and everywhere.
Co-founder & Software Architect
Full stack software architect at LearnSprout and ex-Googler who was a software engineer & tech lead at YouTube. Prior to Google, Anthony worked in the world of enterprise software, where he handled systems integrations for Fortune 500 companies. Anthony is our resident gadget geek and early-adopter of everything. At the ripe age of 14 he cut his teeth on the Internet using a 9600 baud modem on Mac OS 5. A frustrated but loyal SuperSonics fan, Anthony loves to watch basketball and plans to someday become the general manager and chief geek of a moneyball NBA team.
Co-founder & Software Engineer
Full stack software engineer at LearnSprout. Formerly with Adobe Systems where he built web services on the Acrobat.com team and implemented data Analytics. Prior to Adobe, Jon worked at Expedia, Google and Autodesk. Jon loves tearing up the ski slopes, plays tennis and is an avid gamer with legendary chops. Do not cross Jon in a game of Settlers.
A former litigation consultant who worked with big, messy data sets as an analyst at Cornerstone Research. Prior to Cornerstone, Emily studied accounting and mathematical finance at the University of Southern California. Emily loves to travel, she’s talented at ballet and modern dance, and is a force to be reckoned with in strategy games. When she's not at the office or dance studio, she can be found attempting to code in a little corner.
Senior product marketer with 12+ years experience within the K-12 SIS space. Paul honed his skills in Product Management, Marketing and Sales working directly with hundreds of teachers and administrators in small classroom settings during his tenure with PowerSchool, Apple and Pearson. An MBA from St. Mary’s College of California and a student of Disruptive Innovation, he’s keeps a strategic eye on the evolving state of edtech. In a former life Paul was known simply as “Mr. Smith,” fourth grade classroom teacher at Santa Clara Unified School District.
Finance & Operations
A seasoned strategy and finance manager from Microsoft, Anna has gained broad business experience in growth strategy, mergers & acquisitions, monetization, and financial planning & analysis for both consumer and enterprise products across the Windows and Office divisions. Anna studied Finance, International Business, and Chinese at the University of Washington, and has worked abroad in Taiwan, India, and China. She loves yummy food, great wines, bikram yoga, and fashion blogs.
Alex is a software engineer hailing from Microsoft, where he worked as a dev on client apps for Windows and Windows Live. Prior to Microsoft, Alex studied Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. Alex loves to play soccer, snowboard fresh pow, and travel.
